- Regular local travel required (company vehicle included)

The Field Service Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to customers on improving sanitation and operational performance
- Support installation, calibration, and optimization of equipment and chemical systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain pumps, piping, and chemical feed systems to ensure reliability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with plant teams and key stakeholders
- Deliver onsite training to customers on food safety and sanitation best practices
- Identify opportunities for additional business and pass leads to the sales team
- Document service activity and maintain accurate reports using company tools
- Manage onsite inventory, tools, and company equipment
- Meet performance targets related to safety, service quality, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety policies and procedures
The ideal Field Service Engineer candidate will have the following skillset:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, sanitation, or food safety
- Strong understanding of food safety principles, sanitation practices, and water treatment
- Experience working with or troubleshooting CIP systems and chemical processes
- Ability to communicate clearly and deliver training or presentations to customers
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, field-based role
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, reporting systems, and basic computer applications
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for customer support
