General Manager
We are partnering with a fast- growing environmental services organization seeking a General Manager to lead a significant operation in the Orlando market. This role carries full responsibility for operational performance, team leadership, customer satisfaction, safety, and financial results.
The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement across the business. This individual will lead a multi-functional team, manage a substantial fleet and operational footprint, and be accountable for achieving revenue, profitability, and service objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for all aspects of the operation, including personnel, service delivery, safety, customer experience, and financial performance.
- Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning for a large operations team.
- Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Partner closely with commercial teams to support customer retention and drive growth within the market.
- Ensure efficient routing, fleet utilization, and resource planning to maximize operational performance.
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop relationships with key customers, business partners, and community stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, though equivalent leadership experience will be considered
- Experience leading a multi-site, fleet-based, logistics, environmental services, transportation, industrial services, or similar operation.
- Demonstrated success managing P&L performance and large operational teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to drive accountability, improve processes, and build high-performing teams.
