Head of Electrical Maintenance (M/F/D)
Join a global, innovation-driven manufacturer of specialised packaging who need someone to join their maintenance department. You will support with the electrical maintenance of their modern and legacy technology, where they have a variety of large-scale industrial processing lines.
Role Responsibilities
As the Electrical Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of all electrical systems at their flagship plant. Your responsibilities include:
- Organising, monitoring, and maintaining all electrical installations and systems
- Coordinating and leading the electrical workshop team
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance and repair work
- Independently diagnosing and resolving technical faults and system issues
- Supporting smooth plant operations through proactive maintenance practices
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering, control systems, and plant automation
- Experience with PLC programming (advantageous)
- Proven leadership experience in managing a team or workshop
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- High level of safety and quality awareness
- Completed training as a certified electrical technician/master (Elektromeister:in) or equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Good German language skills (written and spoken)
