Head of QHSE
Leading Industrial Manufacturing Organization
A global industrial manufacturer is seeking a Head of Quality & HSE to lead regional quality, health, safety, and environmental programs across multiple operations. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving compliance, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional Quality & HSE strategy in alignment with corporate governance and operational objectives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Develop, mentor, and lead Quality & HSE teams across the region
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and operational excellence methodologies
- Oversee internal and external audits, corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and risk assessments
- Manage customer quality concerns and environmental, health, and safety programs
- Establish and track KPIs, management reviews, and performance reporting
- Standardize best practices and strengthen business management systems across sites
- Partner closely with operations and executive leadership to improve safety, quality, and business performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Significant leadership experience within Quality and/or HSE in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, auditing practices, and regulatory compliance
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities
- Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and quality management tools
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30-50%
