The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales to lead our client's commercial team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Report directly to the CEO and contribute to overall business strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience (15+ years) in B2B sales leadership, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel within the Netherlands and Europe as needed.
