Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 + Bonus

Overview:

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives within the food manufacturing industry, focusing on the K-12 education market. This role is responsible for nurturing relationships with school nutrition directors, distributor partners, and brokers, while ensuring our nutritious product offerings align with school standards. The position requires approximately 50% travel to engage with clients, conduct product demonstrations, cook samples, and provide on-site support. Success in this role hinges on strong interpersonal skills, strategic collaboration, and a passion for delivering high-quality food solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans in partnership with brokers to drive results throughout the academic year.
  • Build trust and rapport with school food service professionals, brokers, and distributor representatives.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations that align with client needs and highlight value-added solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings, showcasing product offerings and culinary capabilities.
  • Maintain a customer-first mindset, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent communication.
  • Leverage CRM tools and sales data to refine strategies and improve performance.
  • Travel regularly to meet with clients, conduct product tastings, and provide hands-on support.
  • Demonstrate a polished, professional demeanor and a results-driven attitude.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with school food service operations or group purchasing organizations is a plus.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Adept at building long-term, value-based relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and adaptable approach.
