Location: Germany (with regular travel across Europe)

Team Size: 5 (Regional Sales Managers across Europe)

Role Overview

As the Head of Sales - Europe, you will be responsible for leading and scaling our European sales operations. Based in Germany, you will manage a team of five regional sales managers across key European markets. Your mission is to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and ensure strategic alignment across all sales activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team across Europe.
  • Strategic Planning: Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Performance Management: Set targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent achievement of revenue goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales leadership within the road freight or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of European logistics markets and cross-border freight operations.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate remote, multicultural teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
