I&E Specialist
Position Overview: The I&E Specialist will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and electrical systems within our refinery. This role requires extensive experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and a strong understanding of refinery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- PLC Programming and Maintenance: Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs to ensure optimal performance of refinery processes.
- Instrumentation: Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instrumentation used in refinery operations.
- Electrical Systems: Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to instrumentation and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical systems within the oil refinery industry.
- PLC Expertise: Proven experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of instrumentation, electrical systems, and refinery operations.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in PLC programming and electrical systems are preferred.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
