Role: Industrial Engineer

Location: Long Island, NY (Onsite)

A longestablished advancedmanufacturing company known for its production of hydraulics to the defense/aerospace industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support operations, performance analytics, and continuousimprovement initiatives at its Long Island production facility. This is a handson, onsite role ideal for an engineer who enjoys blending data analysis with realworld process improvement, leading CapEx projects, and partnering crossfunctionally to enhance operational efficiency.

The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to support performance tracking and informed decisionmaking.
  • Monitoring key operational KPIs and providing insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Reviewing production schedules, engineering specifications, and process flows to uncover inefficiencies and improvement opportunities using Lean / Six Sigma methods.
  • Leading CapEx projects, including sourcing, installing, and commissioning new automated equipment or software systems.
  • Partnering with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to understand data needs and build analytical solutions.
  • Preparing clear, concise presentations and reports for leadership.
  • Continuously improving reporting processes and analytical methodologies across the operation.

The Industrial Engineer should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and data quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work crossfunctionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible for any required government authorizations.
