Title: Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift)
Location: Eastern North Carolina
Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
Shift: 2nd Shift (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

A global manufacturer with a strong U.S. footprint is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support a high‑volume production facility in Eastern North Carolina. The organization operates in a fast‑paced, consumer‑focused manufacturing environment and is known for long‑term stability, strong benefits, and continued investment in its people and equipment.
The facility produces finished goods using a mix of automated and mechanically complex equipment and places a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role is critical to maintaining production uptime during off‑shift operations.
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising skilled maintenance technicians during second shift operations
- Ensuring safety is the top priority; enforcing OSHA, environmental, and site safety standards
- Supporting planned and unplanned maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime
- Acting as the primary communication link between maintenance and production on second shift
- Prioritizing and dispatching maintenance work to support production schedules
- Driving improvements in response time, maintenance efficiency, and cost control
- Performing inspections of completed maintenance work to ensure quality and compliance
- Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Utilizing the CMMS to document work, maintain accurate equipment records, and track PMs
- Coaching, training, and developing maintenance technicians and apprentices
- Coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed
- Supporting capital projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- Technical degree or equivalent hands‑on experience
- 7+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to work and lead effectively on an off‑shift schedule
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
- Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
- Welding, machining, and blueprint or schematic reading experience
- Strong communication, organization, and team‑building skills
- Experience driving uptime, PM compliance, and downtime reduction
