A high‑volume manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support equipment reliability, uptime, and safe operations. This hands‑on role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production systems in a fast‑paced industrial environment. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work across all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production lines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Repair and install equipment, including working with external contractors.
- Conduct line changeovers and adjust machinery for product variations.
- Interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Maintain and support systems such as conveyors, airveyors, and delivery systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 5+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with high‑speed manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and motor controls.
- Experience with PLC navigation and documentation (A‑B PLC‑5, SLC‑500/SLC5000).
- Ability to perform computerized preventative maintenance; must supply own tools.
- Ability to meet physical demands and pass required screenings/tests.
