Maintenance Supervisor
DSJ Global is seeking a skilled leader in the Maintenance space to join an Aeropsace Manufacturing team as their Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities will include execution of preventative maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff; participate in plant safety inspections; oversee repairs of breakdowns; oversee preventative maintenance; work with outside contractors; coordinate office moves and rearrangements; direct maintenance of equipment; maintain responsibility for maintenance of building.
- Lead the preventive maintenance program and coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure reliable equipment performance.
- Conduct regular plant safety inspections and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain compliance.
- Manage repairs, building and equipment upkeep, contractor partnerships, and office moves or space rearrangements.
Supervisory Duties
- Supervise a high‑performing maintenance team, plan meetings, manage staffing levels, assign daily work, and complete performance appraisals.
- Provide clear feedback, maintain required documentation, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Train and orient employees on EHS rules, job procedures, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and serve as liaison with union representatives, addressing grievances promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience supervising maintenance teams
Preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with TPM, Synchronous Manufacturing, and Kaizen
- Strong communication, organizational, and team‑building skills
- Technically oriented, energetic, self‑motivated, and PC proficient
