Maintenance Technician III needed to join a major food and beverage manufacturer based in the Twin Falls, ID area. This company is a global producer of high-quality, natural food products with a strong presence across North America and international markets. This company operates at the forefront of food manufacturing and continues to set the standard for excellence across the industry.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician III owns all aspects of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems across a high-volume food production facility. This includes working with motors, pumps, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, and control systems, while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and food-grade standards. The role also involves preventative maintenance, equipment optimization, technical documentation, and serving as a resource for operations and support teams from issue identification through resolution.

What you will do:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across a variety of production equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems such as PLCs, PID loops, sensors, and servo motors to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics to guide maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to communicate maintenance procedures and ensure equipment is used correctly.
  • Identify opportunities for safety improvements, equipment reliability, and process optimization.
  • Fabricate or modify parts as needed to support equipment functionality and production needs.
  • Serve as a technical resource for other teams, providing guidance and training on maintenance best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLCs, PID loops, sensors, motors, pumps, and conveying systems
  • Have Food and Beverage industry experience. (Tetrapak experience is a plus).
