  2. Lead strategic manufacturing projects, taking ownership of key process improvement initiatives across welding and related disciplines.
  3. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure welding practices align with ISO, AS9100, and customer-specific standards. Oversee welder certification and recertification processes.
  4. Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for welding-related issues, including those identified through radiographic, penetrant, and other non-destructive testing methods.
  5. Execute complex weld repairs on challenging materials such as cobalt alloys, stainless steels, and nickel-based superalloys.
  6. Identify and implement new technologies and process enhancements to improve cost efficiency, ergonomics, and product quality.
  7. Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance on welding best practices and professional development.
  8. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for welding, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.
  9. Contribute to the development and refinement of internal business processes and work instructions.
  10. Analyze welding parameters and environmental conditions to optimize process outcomes.
  11. Support in-service inspections and evaluations of welded components.
  12. Interface with customer engineering teams to define manufacturable, cost-effective solutions and support qualification of new products or processes.
  13. Investigate manufacturing issues related to weld quality and initiate corrective actions to resolve recurring problems.
  14. Define equipment specifications, introduce new tools and technologies, and improve existing welding and inspection processes.
  15. Review engineering changes and act as a liaison between production, planning, and design teams to ensure smooth implementation.
  16. Recommend design modifications to enhance manufacturability and product reliability.
  17. Consistently deliver on project commitments with a focus on quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
