An innovative aerospace company in the greater New York City area is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and play a hands-on role in bringing innovative hydraulic products from concept to reality. What You'll Do:

As a key technical leader within our operations team, you will drive the machining and assembly strategies for cutting-edge aerospace hydraulic systems used across multiple business units. You'll collaborate closely with Design and Quality Engineering partners, support new program launches, and enhance legacy production to keep us flying forward.

  • Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing methods using your knowledge of design, materials, fabrication, tooling, CNC equipment, and quality standards.
  • Create assembly documentation and provide hands‑on support to technicians as they manufacture, inspect, and test high‑performance aerospace components.
  • Develop innovative tools, jigs, and fixtures that streamline and strengthen production processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement and execute action plans that reduce cost and improve efficiency.
  • Develop Machining strategies and support the creation of CNC programs for milling and turning operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
  • Proficiency in CAD for designing tools and fixtures.
  • Experience with CAM software to generate CNC programs.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Authorization to work in the US and the ability to obtain required government approvals.

Preferred:

  • ERP/MRP system experience.
