Company Profile: A global leader in food and flavor is looking to add a Materials Manager to their team. This person will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for a function within a high performance plant/facility. This person will have overall accountability for the performance of the function and the impact on the larger operating unit as well as lead team managers and/or staff to achieve exceptional business results through the development of people and continuous improvement of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
The Materials Manager Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Collaborate with the Management team to plan, forecast and replenish products for customers
- Balance inventory, service and cost objectives, drive collaborative supply chain improvements and support Customer Service
- Responsible for all replenishment activities and working with internal and external departments to meet customer demand
- Direct and administer the following: purchasing, production scheduling and control, inventory and warehouse stock control, warehousing sales order entry, customer service, traffic and shipping
- Manage Production Planning and Scheduling to ensure the smoothest production curve, while maintaining a high customer service level
The Materials Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7-10 years of functional/leadership experience
- Strong leadership experience with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and people
- ERP system experience, SAP preferred
