Role

The National Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth and maximizing sales opportunities across the country. This role involves leading the sales team, managing key client relationships, and executing marketing and business development strategies to support revenue growth and brand visibility.


Responsibilities

  • Sales & Strategy

    • Develop and implement national sales and account strategies.
    • Monitor sales performance and forecast revenue.
    • Manage budgets and control costs to meet targets.
    • Lead and support the sales team to achieve business goals.
  • Client & Market Engagement

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
    • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
    • Address service issues in collaboration with operations and customer service teams.
  • Marketing & Campaigns

    • Plan and execute local marketing campaigns and events.
    • Localize promotional materials and manage digital marketing efforts (SEO, SEM, social media).
    • Support lead generation and content management for online platforms.
    • Collaborate with global marketing teams as needed.
  • Reporting & Coordination

    • Provide regular updates on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
    • Ensure smooth coordination across departments to support business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, sales processes, and key account management.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot).
  • Commercially driven with a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to manage both local and virtual teams effectively.
