National Sales Manager

*Must be located in California, Texas, Wisconsin, or Missouri.

The National Sales Manager drives revenue growth and manages a team of Territory Sales Managers. Our client, a leading manufacturing company specializing in pallets, is looking for an individual with a hunter mentality who is looking to continue their career in environmental solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Territory Sales Managers to achieve sales, profit, and growth objectives.
  • Drive team performance through effective recruiting, training, accountability, and ongoing development.
  • Own regional sales results, including revenue, gross profit, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
  • Expand market share by growing existing accounts and securing new municipal, hauler, and waste industry opportunities.
  • Execute relationship-based sales strategies to influence specifications, strengthen customer partnerships, and increase win rates.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and National Account teams to align forecasting, account strategy, and customer execution.
  • Provide market, customer, and pipeline insights to support business planning and long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in B2B, manufacturing, distribution, or related industries.
  • Proven success driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong customer relationship, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, or similar CRM/reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic customer relationships.
  • Municipal, waste, recycling, or environmental industry experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
