A global leader in advanced materials manufacturing is seeking an Operations Manager to lead extrusion operations at their Nashville, TN facility. The Operations Manager will be responsible for:
* Lead day-to-day extrusion operations across safety, quality, and production performance
* Manage and develop a large workforce (150+ employees with multiple direct reports)
* Execute site objectives and align operations with business goals
* Partner cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, and Customer Service
* Own budgeting, capital planning, and production performance metrics
* Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance
The Operations Manager should have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required, Engineering or technical discipline preferred
* 5-10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, extrusion preferred
* Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
* Strong understanding of process manufacturing and production operations
* Experience with financials, budgeting, and capital planning
* Track record of continuous improvement and operational execution
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
