Operations Safety Supervisor required for Manufacturing & Production Facility

The Operations Safety Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead and continuously improve a comprehensive EHS program focused on zero injuries and regulatory compliance.
- Champion and embed a strong safety‑first culture across the facility.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, training programs, and LMS requirements.
- Lead safety committees, communications, audits, inspections, and hazard‑corrective action systems.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, near misses, and property damage; ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage workers' compensation claims, reporting, documentation, and carrier relationships.
- Oversee hazardous materials handling, disposal, and SPCC compliance; support air and water environmental inspections.
- Review and manage safety‑related CAPEX projects, budgets, PPE, and voucher programs.
- Ensure safety compliance for contractors, temporary employees, and new hires.
- Partner with operations, plant leadership, and security teams to ensure safe operations, facility access, and asset protection.
- Provide crisis management support and ensure adherence to safety, food safety, quality, and environmental policies.
- Communicate safety and environmental updates effectively across all levels of the organization.
The ideal Operations Safety Supervisor candidate will have the following skillset:
- minimum of 2+ years of safety and/or operations leadership experience
- bachelor's degree required
- ability to work 10+ hour shifts in a manufacturing/production environment
- proven ability to influence and lead teams at all organizational levels
- strong analytical, problem‑solving, planning, and organizational skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- degree concentration in Environmental, Health, and Safety
- experience in manufacturing, food, or beverage production environments
