Plant Manager
For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced plant manager who will oversee the plant near Motru to ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe production processes. This role requires a results-driven leader who promotes a culture of continuous improvement, drives lean manufacturing practices, and builds top-tier teams. The Plant Manager will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing operational processes and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring consistent adherence to productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through the application of lean manufacturing principles and other process optimization methodologies.
- Provide hands-on leadership to develop and mentor high-performing teams that embody a world-class operational mindset.
- Identify, implement, and enhance operational processes to support the company's long-term strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 15 years of proven success in managerial roles within international manufacturing companies in Romania, particularly in the automotive, transport equipment, machinery, or heavy fabrication industries.
- Education: A university degree in engineering or a related manufacturing discipline.
- Certifications: Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certifications are highly desirable. Training in quality management, industrial management, and Health & Safety will be considered advantageous.
