About the Role:

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organization in the Greater DFW area for a dynamic and results-driven Plant Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing leadership, a passion for operational excellence, and a proven ability to lead teams through change and growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for all plant operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and KPIs.
  • Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all departments.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering accountability, engagement, and professional development.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize throughput.
  • Manage plant budgets, cost controls, and capital improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and corporate leadership to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, safety, and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a plant or operations management role.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles; Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field is strongly recommended.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, improving operational metrics, and managing change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., food, pharma, automotive, or industrial) is a plus.
