Our client, a leading manufacturer in the building materials industry, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a high-volume manufacturing operation. This role will be responsible for driving safety, production, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring operational excellence across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all plant operations within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Improve productivity, efficiency, and cost performance through Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions.
- Develop and mentor plant leadership teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven Plant Manager or 5+ years in senior manufacturing leadership experience within building materials, cement, aggregates, concrete products, insulation, roofing, gypsum, wood products, or other heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
- Strong track record of improving safety, production, and operational performance.
- Experience managing large teams and complex manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
