Role Overview
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team developing precision measurement instruments used across advanced technology, medical, and industrial markets. Key responsibilities include product development, identifying performance limitations, and defining improvement roadmaps. This is a hands‑on engineering role with strong growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply deep knowledge of sensors and instrumentation to identify performance barriers and develop new architectures/circuits to advance product capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues to root cause and support resolution.
- Develop and release new sensing products offering advantages in performance, cost, and size.
- Serve as the primary electronics lead on multi‑disciplinary product teams.
Skills & Experience
- Strong technical background in low‑noise electronics, precision sensors, and embedded microprocessors.
- Experience developing and supporting multidisciplinary products.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Broad product‑level technical knowledge (electronics, firmware, mechanical systems, sensors).
- Hands‑on engineering capabilities, including test development and execution.
- Understanding of manufacturing systems, documentation control, BOM structures, and ECO processes.
- Self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and collaborative.
- Experience with sensors, instrumentation, vacuum systems, or semiconductor equipment preferred.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills; comfortable leading technical discussions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 6+ years of experience (advanced degree preferred).
