Principal Electrical Engineer
Seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electronic hardware for high‑performance, mission‑critical systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to drive complex hardware programs from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical architecture, schematic design, and system‑level integration for digital, analog, RF, power, and mixed‑signal hardware.
- Own full hardware lifecycle: requirements definition, design, simulations, reviews, bring‑up, and verification.
- Develop high‑speed digital circuits, power architectures, and robust PCB designs meeting environmental and EMI/EMC requirements.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams; provide technical oversight for layout, analysis, and documentation.
- Conduct hardware debugging and collaborate closely with software, FPGA, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
- Support customer engagements, production builds, and fielded system troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years designing complex electronic systems in high‑reliability or high‑performance domains.
- Expertise in high‑speed digital, power, or mixed‑signal design.
- Strong proficiency with schematic capture, PCB tools, and SI/PI or SPICE simulations.
- Hands‑on experience with lab equipment and debugging methods.
- Familiarity with ruggedized hardware standards (e.g., IPC, MIL‑STD, DO‑160).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with embedded processing, FPGA architectures, or RF systems.
- Knowledge of secure computing or safety‑critical hardware.
- Understanding of DFM/DFT and electronics manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience.
