A high-volume manufacturing and fulfillment operation is seeking a hands-on Print Production Manager to lead digital printing, packaging, and fulfillment activities. This role is responsible for driving throughput, improving efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery across print and finishing operations.
The ideal candidate has a strong production-floor presence and a proven ability to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and scale operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end print and pack operations from production through shipment
- Drive daily output across multiple digital printing platforms and finishing processes
- Oversee bagging, packing, and fulfillment with a focus on speed, accuracy, and flow
- Align printing capacity with downstream packaging and fulfillment capabilities
- Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks, particularly in material flow and packaging
- Optimize floor layout, staging, and material handling to improve efficiency
- Track KPIs including output, labor efficiency, downtime, and on-time delivery
- Build a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement
- Partner cross-functionally to align production with schedules and customer commitments
- Ensure proper equipment performance, safety, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in print production, packaging, fulfillment, or high-volume manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of digital printing and finishing operations
- Demonstrated success improving throughput and operational efficiency
- Hands-on leadership style with strong floor engagement
- Proficiency in Excel and data-driven performance management
- Experience with bagging, packing, or fulfillment operations preferred
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
