📍 Passau, Germany (Hybrid Working - On-site ~3 Days/Month Across EMEA Sites)
We are partnered with a leading global manufacturer in the FMCG and packaging sector, looking to hire a dynamic Procurement Manager to join their expanding EMEA team. This hybrid position offers exceptional flexibility, requiring on-site presence only around 3 days per month, spread across their Freyung location and two additional EMEA sites.

🔧 Your Role: Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Execution: Drive and implement global and regional procurement strategies across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
Business Growth Enablement: Partner with local operations and sales to proactively eliminate procurement bottlenecks and streamline workflows.
Contract & Vendor Management: Lead negotiations and manage service contracts with local vendors, securing competitive terms and reliable delivery.
Cost Savings & Process Improvement: Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through procurement process optimization and strategic sourcing.
Dual Sourcing Strategy: Manage dual sourcing initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience and mitigate risk.
Local Spend Oversight: Monitor and control local procurement to ensure policy compliance and prevent unauthorized purchases.
CAPEX Procurement: Oversee CAPEX investments, ensuring procurement alignment with timelines and operational requirements.
Supplier Collaboration: Organize and lead regular vendor meetings to resolve procurement issues and build strong supplier relationships.
Energy Market Engagement: Represent the site in global energy management initiatives; track and interpret energy trends in Southern Germany.
Inflation & Pricing Management: Support pricing negotiations and inflation tracking; communicate relevant updates to stakeholders.
Operational Procurement Support: Act as the interface between operations and vendors to resolve procurement-related challenges quickly and effectively.
👤 Your Profile
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within manufacturing industries.
(Industries like automotive, packaging, or FMCG are ideal-but we're open to professionals from any manufacturing background.)Strong skills in vendor management, cost optimization, and contract negotiation.
Experience managing dual sourcing strategies, CAPEX projects, and working cross-functionally.
Knowledge of energy management and trends in Southern Germany is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different regions and levels.
- Only English is required but additional languages are a plus (including German)
