As the Production Process Engineer, you will be responsible for…
- Investigate and assess challenges encountered by production teams
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and high-risk areas in processes, equipment, or workflows
- Develop and recommend practical solutions, leveraging internal or external expertise as needed
- Spot and suggest opportunities for technical, organizational, or strategic improvements
- Update and refine standard operating procedures to reflect best practices
- Deliver hands-on coaching and training to enhance team performance and process understanding
- Support root cause analysis efforts and contribute to long-term reliability improvements
- Share key insights with R&D and product development teams to inform innovation
- Lead pilot tests and oversee implementation of improvement initiatives
- Communicate improvement strategies to production teams and facilitate collaborative discussions
The Production Process Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Three (3) or more years of experience as a Process Engineer in a Chemical manufacturing setting with demonstrated skills in problem-solving/troubleshooting and process improvement.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- PLC Programming experience
- Experience with ASPEN
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
