Production Supervisor
A growing pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking experienced Production Supervisors for both 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift operations. These positions offer the opportunity to join a highly regulated manufacturing environment where safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence are top priorities.
They are looking for hands-on leaders who can effectively manage production teams, drive performance, and ensure products are manufactured in compliance with cGMP standards and FDA regulations. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of leading teams, improving efficiencies, and fostering a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for production associates while promoting a culture centered on safety, quality, and compliance.
* Ensure manufacturing operations are executed according to cGMP requirements, SOPs, batch records, and regulatory standards.
* Drive attainment of production schedules while maximizing productivity, minimizing downtime, and maintaining product quality.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators including throughput, labor efficiency, scrap, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
* Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to resolve operational challenges and support business objectives.
* Lead shift meetings, performance discussions, investigations, corrective actions, and employee development activities.
* Support deviation investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and audit readiness initiatives.
* Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of supervisory experience within manufacturing environments.
* Strong understanding of cGMP regulations, FDA requirements, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive a culture of accountability.
* Experience managing production performance metrics and implementing process improvements.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Bachelor's degree required
