Position Summary
A growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant Supervisor to support QA and Food Safety programs across multiple production facilities. This role ensures consistency, compliance, and alignment with regulatory and internal standards in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Quality Assurance and operational needs across multiple plant locations.
- Assist in managing Food Safety and Food Defense programs.
- Work cross‑functionally to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Review and interpret procedures, regulations, and internal guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication of quality activities.
- Use company systems and software to manage data and workflows.
- Conduct facility inspections and monitor adherence to standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and enhancement of quality systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Critical thinking with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
