Reliability Engineer
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Reliability Engineer to join our team within the chemical manufacturing industry. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our production assets. The Reliability Engineer will lead efforts to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance strategies through data-driven analysis and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions.
- Lead reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) initiatives.
- Analyze equipment performance data and trends to identify reliability risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Support capital projects by providing input on equipment selection and reliability considerations.
- Maintain and improve asset management systems (e.g., CMMS, SAP PM).
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance/reliability engineering in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of reliability tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, RCM, Weibull analysis).
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, and ISO.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and CMMS platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skill
