Sales Manager - Benelux
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our client's sales operations within the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, a deep understanding of the food industry, and a passion for building lasting client relationships. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand customer base.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and foodservice clients.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Collaborate with marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on product launches, promotions, and customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and partners.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
