About the Role
In this high-impact commercial role, you will be responsible for driving new business across Belgium and the wider European network, with the opportunity to scale the remit towards a global commercial focus. You will play a key role in expanding the organisation's footprint within targeted industries such as e‑commerce, retail, industrial manufacturing, and value-added logistics. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will shape and execute strategic commercial initiatives, engage key partners, and contribute directly to long-term revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic commercial plan aligned with the company's growth priorities across Belgium and international markets.
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Build, coach, and grow a high-performing business development team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer solutions, and network teams to design tailored logistics and parcel delivery solutions.
- Analyse market trends and competitive activity to inform commercial strategy.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, client visits, and networking forums, acting as an ambassador for the company's service quality and reliability.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within parcel logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or broader supply chain services.
- Demonstrated success in developing markets, winning new business, and leading commercial teams.
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to translate complex customer needs into operational solutions.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are an asset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, proactive, and strategically minded, with a passion for driving growth and delivering customer value.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing, and performance-driven environment.
