A growing global manufacturer is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its supply chain team and play a key role in supporting production operations within a highly visible manufacturing environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with operations, planning, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure materials are available to support production while driving supplier performance, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Overview

Location: Littleton, CO | Onsite

Compensation: $80,000-$94,000 + 7% bonus

Responsibilities

  • Support production by ensuring timely availability of materials and components.
  • Manage supplier relationships and partner with vendors to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Execute purchasing activities, monitor inventory levels, and support production schedules.
  • Analyze procurement and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, planning, quality, and engineering.
  • Participate in sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts that positively impact operational performance.

Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience supporting production operations or plant-based manufacturing.
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
  • ERP/MRP system experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar).
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
