About the Role

Our client is a well-established OEM & ODM serving global customers across industrial and electronic equipment sectors. They are seeking an experienced (Senior) Project Manager to lead end-to-end project execution from RFQ, NPI, and mass production through post-launch support.

This is a customer-facing role requiring strong project management, commercial acumen, and cross-functional leadership to ensure successful delivery of complex OEM/ODM programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage product development projects from RFQ, Proof-of-Concept, NPI to mass production and sustaining phases.
  • Prepare quotations covering NRE, tooling investment, and product costing.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate closely with overseas customers.
  • Monitor purchase orders, billing, collections, and project milestones with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate material authorization, engineering change requests, and project timeline adjustments.
  • Work closely with sourcing, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure project readiness.
  • Track tooling and material procurement to support NPI and production schedules.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to customers and management.
  • Drive resolution of supply chain, quality, technical, and production issues.
  • Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation plans.
  • Mentor and guide junior project engineers and project team members.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or related disciplines.
  • 10+ years of project management experience within OEM/ODM electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Strong exposure to industrial electronics, electronic equipment, or related products.
  • Proven experience managing overseas customers, particularly North America or European accounts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of NPI, product development, engineering change management, and mass production processes.
  • Solid understanding of costing, tooling investment systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer communication skills.
  • Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
