Salary: $80,000 - $100,000k/yr

Company Summary: An industryleading steel service organization is seeking a strategic and operationally strong Service Center General Manager to oversee its facility. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, financial performance, and a culture of safety and accountability.

The Service Center General Manager will be responsible for:

  • Oversee and develop a team of ~40 employees, including the Sales Leadership, Plant Manager, and Plant Controller.
  • Drive operational efficiency, cost control, inventory accuracy, and ontime order fulfillment.
  • Partner with sales leadership to support revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability targets.
  • Implement strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen competitiveness and operational excellence.

The Service Center General Manager should have the following qualifications:

8-10+ years of progressive leadership in steel service centers, manufacturing, or industrial distribution.

  • Demonstrated success leading crossfunctional teams in a fastpaced, metricsdriven environment.
  • Strong understanding of operations, production processes, sales support, and financial management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
