Singapore Data Center Assistant Manager to Director
We are partnering with a fast-growing data center company that is currently expanding its operations and building out its procurement team in Singapore.
As part of this growth, we are looking to speak with procurement professionals from Assistant Manager through to Director level, with experience across data center, critical infrastructure, EPC, construction, engineering or other relevant project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing activities for data center development and operations
- Lead sourcing, tendering, commercial evaluation and supplier selection
- Manage procurement across relevant categories such as M&E systems, electrical, cooling/HVAC, BMS/EPMS, construction, equipment and professional services
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and framework agreements with suppliers, contractors and service providers
- Develop and manage supplier strategies to improve cost, quality, delivery and supply resilience
- Partner closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Operations and Finance teams
- Support procurement planning for new data center development and expansion projects
- Manage supplier performance, commercial risks and contract-related matters
- At more senior levels, provide procurement leadership, category strategy and support the continued build-out of the procurement function
We're Interested in Candidates With
- Procurement, sourcing or category management experience within data centers, EPC, construction, IT infrastructure or related engineering environments
- Experience managing technical and/or project-related procurement categories
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Regional or APAC procurement exposure would be advantageous
