This individual will guide strategic decision‑making across multiple IT spend areas, including software, cybersecurity tools, hardware assets, and professional technology services. The role involves shaping long‑range sourcing direction, strengthening supplier ecosystems, and improving procurement processes to support a diverse, multi‑entity enterprise.
This is a strategic role requiring someone who can blend analytical depth, vendor management expertise, and operational know‑how while driving modernization across purchasing workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shapelong‑term sourcing strategies for major technology spend areas, including software, security tools, hardware, and IT services.
- Lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities-from spend analysis and market assessment to negotiation and contract execution.
- Strengthen supplier performance and streamline the technology vendor landscape through rationalization, license optimization, and improved governance.
- Advance procurement modernization by expanding guided buying options, digital catalogs, automation, and standardized purchasing pathways.
- Partner closely with IT, Finance, and business leaders to ensure technology purchasing aligns with organizational goals and follows procurement best practices.
- Manage risk, oversee supplier relationships, and secure commercial terms that support cost efficiency, compliance, and operational reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Supply Chain, Technology, Operations, etc.).
- A decade or more of experience in category management, sourcing, or procurement leadership tied to enterprise technology.
- Background managing broad, high‑value technology spend across software, services, and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of software licensing approaches, hardware procurement, IT contracting norms, and the technology vendor landscape.
- Comfortable operating within complex, fast‑changing, multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Excellent commercial judgment, analytical capabilities, and communication skills.
