About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading international manufacturer to identify an experienced supply chain leader who can drive operational performance across a complex production environment. This role sits at the intersection of planning, manufacturing, customer service, and logistics, ensuring products are delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

The successful candidate will lead a team of supply chain professionals and act as a key partner to manufacturing, commercial, and executive stakeholders in developing a resilient, scalable supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee production planning and scheduling activities to ensure alignment between customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
Drive performance across forecasting, inventory management, supplier coordination, and order fulfilment processes.
Monitor operational KPIs and implement initiatives to improve service levels, planning accuracy, inventory health, and productivity.
Partner closely with manufacturing leadership to balance customer demand with operational constraints.
Lead cross-functional planning reviews and facilitate decision-making around capacity, risks, and priorities.
Support business growth through process optimization, digitalization, and supply chain transformation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific quality, regulatory, and operational requirements.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

Significant experience in supply chain, operations, production planning, or materials management within a manufacturing setting.
Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, demand planning, and capacity management.
Experience operating within regulated manufacturing environments such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, food production, chemicals, or similar industries.
Track record of delivering measurable improvements in operational performance and supply chain efficiency.
Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with S&OP, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), or end-to-end supply planning processes.
Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies.
Experience supporting complex manufacturing operations with multiple product lines and changing demand profiles.
APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or similar supply chain certifications are advantageous.
