Vice President of Operations
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading and scaling operational strategy across a portfolio of data centers. This executive role oversees facility management, infrastructure reliability, capacity planning, and service delivery, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and customer satisfaction. The VP of Operations collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, efficiency, and compliance in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end operations across multiple data center sites, including facilities, engineering, and service teams.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for capacity expansion, energy efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Oversee budgeting, vendor management, and capital projects to support infrastructure growth.
- Implement performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning, risk management, and customer engagement.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams to support long-term organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of leadership experience in data center operations or critical infrastructure environments.
- Deep understanding of data center systems including HVAC, electrical, networking, and monitoring technologies.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
