Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Werkleiter (Plant Manager) to lead and further develop a high-performing production site within a dynamic automotive environment. This role carries full responsibility for plant operations, performance, and strategic development, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall site leadership with full P&L responsibility for the plant
- Drive operational excellence across production, logistics, quality, engineering, and maintenance
- Implement and continuously improve Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives
- Ensure achievement of KPIs including productivity, quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Lead and develop a cross-functional leadership team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization measures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders on strategy, investments, and innovation projects
- Drive transformation and change management initiatives, particularly in complex and evolving environments
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or industrial highly preferred)
- Proven track record in plant management or senior operations leadership roles
- Strong experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex production sites and large teams
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on leadership style
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
- Fluent in German and English
