Advanced Process Control Engineer
Introduction
Our client, a leading engineering firm in Texas, is seeking an Advanced Process Control Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced process control solutions to improve plant performance. They will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that the solutions are integrated into the plant control systems and meet the required performance criteria.
Responsibilities
The Advanced Process Control Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced process control solutions to improve plant performance.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that the solutions are integrated into the plant control systems and meet the required performance criteria.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
- Conduct process optimization studies to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support to the plant operations team.
- Develop and maintain process control documentation and procedures.
- Participate in the commissioning and start-up of new process control systems.
Skills
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- 7+ years of experience in process control engineering.
- Experience with APC, DeltaV and DCS systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills.
