Co-Packing Analyst
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Co-Packing Analyst to manage end-to-end co-packing projects across multiple external manufacturing and packaging partners. This role is responsible for project execution, planning, inventory management, supplier coordination, and reporting to ensure products are delivered on time, in full, and within budget.
What You'll Do
- Manage co-packing projects from planning through production, release, and shipment.
- Maintain WIP and component planning within Anaplan.
- Coordinate packaging materials, artwork readiness, and supplier execution activities.
- Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, and National Account teams.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
- Coordinate production schedules and material deliveries with co-packing partners.
- Support Tier 1 operations activities focused on OOS prevention and on-time delivery.
- Track supplier performance, OTIF metrics, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Analyze project costs, pricing variances, and spending trends.
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards utilizing ERP and business intelligence tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process optimization, and packaging innovation.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Packaging, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in co-packing, packaging operations, supply planning, production planning, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain project coordination.
- Experience managing external suppliers, contract packagers, or contract manufacturers.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- ERP and planning system experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working across supply chain, planning, procurement, quality, marketing, and operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Consumer packaged goods (CPG), consumer healthcare, OTC, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry experience.
- Oracle Cloud ERP and Anaplan experience.
- Power BI, Power Query, or SQL experience.
- Promotional display, club pack, custom pack, sample kit, or rework program experience.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or training.
