The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall objectives
- Manage and lead a team of procurement and supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the best possible terms and prices
- Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and ethical standards
- Collaborate with other departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination of operations
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement and supply chain operations
- Provide regular reports to senior management on departmental performance, highlighting areas for improvement and making recommendations for action

Mandatory Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement and supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a track record of achieving results

- Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
