Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and plans that ensure short-term success while focusing on long-term growth
- Establish relationships with clients across all levels including key stakeholders within customer organisations.
- Provide leadership & vision through effective management practices; coaching/mentoring team members as required;
Qualifications/Skills Required:
Leadership Skills:
The ideal candidate must have excellent leadership skills which include but not limited to;
* Experience working at C-level positions or equivalent experience demonstrating successful governance over relevant functions such as finance, sales/marketing etc.
Logistics Operations Management Expertise - The right person will possess demonstrable expertise managing Logistics operations projects from start-up phase up until delivery stage
Industry Knowledge - Must be knowledgeable about industry standards relating specifically road freight forwarding services
Education Requirements - A bachelor's degree related field plus 5+ year's work experience would suffice though higher degrees may also come handy.
