Location: Denver, CO (hybrid) 4 days a week on site

About the Role

A large telecommunications company is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager with deep expertise in networking technologies to join their growing team in Denver, CO. This role is critical in driving cost-effective sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of networking infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for networking hardware, software, and services.

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with key suppliers and OEMs.

• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to understand technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with project timelines.

• Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor risk, compliance, and quality.

• Drive cost savings, process improvements, and innovation in the supply chain.

• Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities in the networking and telecom space.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on networking or telecommunications preferred.

• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.

• Experience working with major vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Nokia is a plus.

• Strong analytical, communication, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
