Sourcing Manager
A leading organization in the wastewater industry is seeking a highly capable Sourcing Manager to lead the development, integration, and optimization of its sourcing infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, excels in resource-constrained environments, and can drive clarity and execution across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and evolve sourcing strategies across operational and technical functions.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to define sourcing requirements and ensure alignment with project and compliance goals.
- Lead development of sourcing tools, supplier frameworks, and operational processes to support scalability and performance.
- Create structure and prioritize effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of sourcing analysts and operations specialists.
- Ensure sourcing practices meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards for deployment in wastewater treatment and infrastructure environments.
- Continuously improve sourcing workflows, supplier engagement, and integration with internal systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or procurement operations within industrial or utility sectors.
- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, cost optimization, and vendor performance in regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead in ambiguous, resource-constrained settings.
- Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and delivering complex sourcing initiatives.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance, safety protocols, and infrastructure-related sourcing is a plus.
- Be willing to travel up to 20%
