About the Role

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to join our team in Fontana, CA. This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys coordinating across departments to ensure smooth production operations. The position involves planning and scheduling production orders to meet customer and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and evaluate orders from the Sales department.
• Provide ready dates based on inventory, materials, and machine availability.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Injection Scheduling for necessary materials.
• Communicate with Sales regarding delays or improvements.
• Schedule and review daily production activities.
• Issue schedules to relevant departments.
• Lead daily meetings with Production, Engineering, QC, and Warehouse teams.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Track incoming containers and manage mold/preform sharing.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve issues related to materials, quality, logistics, and machinery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in production control, shop floor operations, and scheduling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
