They are now seeking an experienced Commercial Director, APAC Partnerships to drive sponsorship and partnership revenue growth across Asia Pacific

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Partnerships & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute regional commercial partnership strategies across APAC to exceed revenue targets
- Identify, prospect, negotiate, and close high-value sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Build a strong regional pipeline across:
- Sponsorships
- Brand collaborations
- Licensing
- Hospitality
- Experiential activations
- Strategic supplier partnerships
- Create compelling, customised partnership proposals and commercial presentations
- Leverage agency and regional brand networks to unlock new business opportunities
Strategic Relationship Management
- Build and manage senior-level relationships
- Structure innovative partnership solutions beyond traditional sponsorship models
Regional Market Development
- Analyse APAC market trends, sponsorship opportunities, and competitive landscape
- Represent the organisation at industry conferences, sporting events, and networking forums
- Collaborate closely with regional event and host city stakeholders
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with global marketing, activation, media, and finance teams to ensure effective partnership execution
- Support commercially compelling storytelling and sales materials development
- Provide leadership with regular updates on pipeline performance, forecasts, and market insights
Job Requirements
- 15-20 years of experience in commercial partnerships, B2B account management and business development, licensing and distribution
- Strong track record of closing complex, high-value regional deals
- Deep understanding of the APAC sponsorship and partnership ecosystem
- Existing network with senior brand and agency stakeholders across Asia Pacific
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly self-driven
- Comfortable navigating a fast-paced international environment
- Fluency of English and Mandarin Chinese is required
- Bachelor's degree required
- Willingness to travel extensively regionally and internationally
