Engineering Manager
DSJ Global is seeking an Engineering Manager to join a leading Aerospace Manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
Drive Process & Cost Improvements
Lead initiatives for yield improvement, variation reduction, scrap reduction, and cost savings across ceramic core/part manufacturing.Manage Engineering Operations
Oversee product/tool design standards, engineering budgets, and generic plant processes while maintaining strong floor presence.Lead New Product Introduction (NPI)
Ensure timely, budget-compliant product development aligned with quoted standards and project timelines.Optimize Plant Performance
Develop and execute scrap reduction plans, improve part velocity, and eliminate operational constraints and waste.Collaborate & Communicate
Coordinate with internal engineering teams, corporate technical staff, and engine manufacturers to optimize design and producibility.Build Engineering Capability
Shape future organizational structure, foster staff engagement, and manage training and development strategies for engineering teams.
Qualifications
- BS in Material Science, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 7+ years of engineering experience; 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.
